With her experience in developing cloud-based production solutions, she can help us maximize the potential of our VPCR, âsays Dave Van Hoy, ASG President. âCloud business models can be very different from traditional capital spending. Claudia will help train the ASG team on how to execute these new models, as well as develop partnerships with more vendors and expand our customer base.
Prior to joining ASG, Souza was part of the leadership team of Grass Valley’s Advanced Technologies division, where Souza led the commercial launch of Grass Valley’s GV Media Universe, a leader in cloud transformation for media and entertainment. As Director of Global Business Development and Solution Architecture, she played a key role in developing and implementing go-to-market plans for the company’s new cloud-based business model. company, putting all the processes and procedures in place for this new initiative, including the creation of Valley’s Grass GVMU Advanced Channel Partner Program. Previously, she spent 13 years at Sony Electronics in various roles, her last as Global Business Development Manager, where she led a global systems integration initiative focused on M&E.
His main goal at ASG will be to extend and implement a successful business model for VPCR.
âIn the broadest sense, my experience is to transform cutting edge technology into a successful business,â she says. âEveryone is focused on innovation that gets attention, and that’s wonderful, but the business side is just as important. Without the right processes and the right teams in place to support it, this initiative will not thrive. ASG has done an amazing job so far with VPCR. I am here to take it to the next level.
Finding the right place for this transition to cloud-based operations will be his main focus at ASG.
âA lot of media and entertainment companies are interested in the cloud,â she adds, âbut they’re still looking to see how it fits into their future. I look forward to helping customers find the most efficient ways to leverage the cloud in their unique environments.
