The Affordable Housing Lottery has been launched for 260 Knickerbocker Avenue, a ten-story mixed-use building in Bushwick, Brooklyn. The 51,686 square foot development is designed by ND Architecture and will produce 53 units. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 12 units for residents at 130 percent of the area’s Median Income (MAI), ranging from qualifying income of $ 63,429 to $ 167,570.
Facilities include bike lockers, communal laundry room, shared car services, Wi-Fi in common areas, gym, yoga and dance studio, recreation room, security cameras , a valet bin, a recycling center and a rooftop terrace. The units will be equipped with dishwashers, energy efficient appliances and hardwood floors.
At 130% of the MAI, there are four bedrooms with a monthly rent of $ 1,850 for incomes ranging from $ 63,429 to $ 139,620, and eight two bedrooms with a monthly rent of $ 2,050 for incomes ranging from $ 70,286 to $ 167,570.
Potential tenants must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than June 28, 2021.
