IBA Concludes Fourth Semi-Annual National Cash Contest

Association of Independent Broadcasters

The Association of Independent Broadcasters (IBA) has concluded its fourth bi-annual IBA National Cash competition. Around 100 IBA member radio companies and 233 member radio stations participated. Members were able to participate in a fully managed program with up to three $1,000 winners per day for a minimum investment of $300 per station. Fifty prizes of $1,000 and one grand prize of $10,000 were awarded to listeners.

“Congratulations to all participating stations and to the winners,” said IBA President Ron Stone. “The IBA National Cash Contest continues to be one of the greatest benefits of being an IBA Member. Any IBA Member can participate in this fully managed, turnkey program offering to independent stations a competition equal to or stronger than any national competition from major groups.”

“IBA member participation in the Spring 2022 contest has increased compared to the fall, and we expect continued growth in participation,” said Renda Broadcasting CEO and Board Member Tony Renda. of the IBA. “The competition works from the smallest independent operator to the largest and in any market size.”

Volunteers from IBA member stations produced the competition entirely. Vipology served as the independent source for all random draws.

“Special thanks to Steve Granato of Renda Broadcasting; JJ Fabini, Taylor Morgan and Randy Alomar of Adams Radio Group; and Gary Berkowitz, IBA Board Member and Radio Consultant for their leadership in managing the continued development of this national promotion and the audio production of the winners,” added Pierre.
