The Reds winger was on the scoresheet again on Wednesday night against Inter Milan in his side’s 2-0 win at the San Siro.
Roberto Firmino opened the scoring for Jurgen Klopp’s men in the 75th minute when he nodded from Andrew Robertson’s corner.
Then Salah doubled Liverpool’s lead eight minutes later when his snap shot snagged Samir Handanovic and gave Klopp’s side an almighty advantage ahead of their home game on March 8.

Salah’s goal means he has scored in his last eight away days in the Champions League which is an impressive feat.
However, Ronaldo currently holds the record for most consecutive away goals, scoring on 12 consecutive away days while playing for Real Madrid.
Salah won’t be able to break said record this season as there simply aren’t enough games left in the competition, even if he is unable to win his next four appearances his current away goalscoring streak remains extraordinary.
The 29-year-old has quickly become a legend at Anfield, and former Reds star Jamie Carragher believes the Egypt international will leave a lasting legacy at the club no matter when he decides to leave.
Carragher told beINSPORTS: “He will rest alongside Dalglish, Gerrard, Rush, John Barnes, Souness – he will be among the greats.
“He’s in Liverpool’s all-time XI on the right wing, it’s his. And he’s one of the five or six best players to ever play for Liverpool Football Club. He’s won the greatest trophies; he won the European Cup, he won the championship.
“His goalscoring record is out of this world. He’s won the Golden Boot practically every year since he’s been in the country.
Salah has scored an incredible 149 goals in 232 appearances since returning to the Premier League after disappointing at Chelsea earlier in his career.
Carragher continued: “Since joining the club, Liverpool have been in a Champions League final, won the Champions League, won the league and he was the league’s top scorer. It shows the impact he’s had. He’s one of the Premier League’s all-time greats, no doubt.”
With Salah so popular on Merseyside, the former Roma star hopes his Liverpool career doesn’t end on a sour note.
Talks between his representatives and the Reds have been going on for months now, with the thrilling striker now in the final 18 months of his contract – expiring in the summer of 2023. Salah has made it clear publicly that he would like to stay at Liverpool. , although rumors have swirled though there has been no agreement on what the player should earn at the club.
It remains to be seen how the situation unfolds at Anfield and whether Salah will be able to break Ronaldo’s record while staying at the club.
