SAE proud to support Show Me Shorts

New Zealand’s premier international short film festival
Show me the shorts takes the stage this month and SAE is proud to sponsor the Public Prize.

For its 16th consecutive year, Show Me Short Film Festival will once again showcase some of the best short films from around the world in New Zealand cinemas. With COVID restrictions impacting access to some theaters, the festival will also provide an on-demand online platform for those who can’t make it to a movie theater.

All entries are eligible for the SAE People’s Choice Award with open voting throughout the festival via the Show Me Shorts website. The winner of the SAE People’s Choice Award will be announced on the festival’s digital media channels.

Director of SAE Auckland Dr Suzette Major, states that “this festival is very important to aspiring filmmakers, and we are very proud to be a part of it. Considering that the SAE is the top institute of choice for so many aspiring filmmakers, it is only fitting that we are sponsoring the People’s Choice Award.

Three online program packages will be available and priced from $ 10 to $ 15. Please check the Show Me Shorts Website for announcements regarding COVID restrictions.

SAE Auckland teaches filmmaking at the Diploma and Diploma levels. The SAE Diploma in Screen Production and the Bachelor of Screen Production only have one admission per year, starting in February.
