The Scotsman Guide recognizes five of the top originators of neighborhood loans

Scotmans Guide Top Initiators Neighborhood Loans

Over the past year, the mortgage industry has experienced record rates, creating an opportunity for our loan officers to reach their full potential. Currently in their 11th year, the Scotsman Guide publishes “the country’s most comprehensive and only verified lists of leading residential mortgage originators.” For 2019, there were a total of 6,448 submissions, representing 458 companies across the country. Due to the recent boom in the industry, the submissions and criteria to be placed on the list have almost doubled and we are fortunate to have five of these award winning loan officers on our team.

Our top-ranked loan officer on The Scotsman Guide, Kevin Polakovich, co-founder and loan officer of Treadstone (a branch of Neighborhood Loans in Michigan) arrived at # 600. Kevin generated just over $ 83 million in volume on 422 loans in 2019. To make it more impressive, most of his closings were purchases, generating 79% of his business in a year when the refinancings have reached record levels. Kevin is approaching his 20th year in the industry and will remain a role model for future loan officers.

Not far from the list, at row 974, is Saul Pinela, one of Neighborhood Loans top producers who is no stranger to awards. He was the first NAHREP Latino loan originator in Illinois in 2015 and 2016 and was ranked No. 9 in the nation in 2016. In 2019, Saul was able to produce approximately $ 67 million in volume, closing 345 loans of which 84% were purchases. After 20 years in the industry, Saul will continue to work closely with the Hispanic community that has helped him get to where he is today.

Saul’s follow-up is Matt Rosen, ranked # 1125 on the Scotsman Guide. Focused on a smooth and honest mortgage process, Matt was able to fund 199 loans totaling just under $ 62.5 million in 2019. With experience in all aspects of the mortgage industry, he does his best to bring his clients non only in the house they want, but will go above and beyond to make the process simple.

Further down the list, at number 1819, is industry veteran Brendan O’Driscoll, another co-founder and loan officer of Treadstone. After 22 years in the industry, he continues to make a difference in the lending business by practicing ethically and honestly. Getting $ 49 million in volume out of 255 loans in 2019, Brendan has slowed down but remains a savvy industry leader.

Our fifth loan officer to make the list was Andy O’Brien, ranked # 2087. Spread almost in the middle of the buy-to-refinance percentages, its total volume reached just over $ 46 million, closing 174 loans. With a great knowledge of the Chicagoland market, he will continue to develop by working to the best of his ability for the benefit of his clients.

Neighborhood loans would like to congratulate all of our award winning loan officers who are set for another great year. They will continue to lead their peers and do everything in their power to make the home buying process easier for you.
